Frequently Asked Questions

Q. When should my puppy come in for its first groom?

It’s important to have your puppy groomed as soon as possible so they can get used to and learn to love the grooming experience.  We recommend they come in at round 3-4months of age after their last vaccinations along with rabies shot.
We recommend not to fully clip your puppy on their first visit to the Spa so that we do not overwhelm the puppy. First visit to the spa should be introduced in a relaxed and fun way to the sights, sounds and smells of the grooming salon ensuring that future visits are stress free.
Please allow us extra time to train and work with your puppy to get familiar to grooming.

Q. How long does it take to groom my pet?

We ask for a 1-4 hour drop off. Timing depends on the condition of the pet’s coat, behavior, size, and the intensity of the work load of the salon.

Q. How much does it cost for my pet to be groomed?

Pricing is based on breed, hair length, the condition of your pet’s, skin, its temperament, age, and grooming history.  Approximate pricing for your pet can be given out over the phone/email.

Q. How often should I groom my dog / cat?

On average, your dog or cat should be groomed every 4-8 weeks depending on breed and coat type. Regular grooming is highly recommended to maintain your pet’s skin and coat at optimal health.

Q. How can I make an appointment?

Please send us a message through our contact us page or call us for faster response.

Q. My dog / cat is very matted. Can you demat my pet?

We do not demat severely matted dogs and cats. Dematting will cause trauma to the pet and increase the chances of an accident. Please consult with us to see if your pet can be dematted or not. Additional charges may apply for grooming matted pets due to higher risk of injury and longer grooming time.

Q. Can I stay and watch while you groom my pet?

As your pet loves you very much they will wiggle and move around trying to get close to you which is not safe while we are grooming.  It is best to drop off your pet at their scheduled appointment time, and then come back when the treatment is finished. We are very happy to show our customers where their pet will have their treatment.  Also please feel free to give us a call any time during the treatment to find out how your pet is doing.

Q. What is required to get my dog / cat groomed?

All dogs and cats must be vaccinated against rabies in accordance with the vaccine manufacturer’s recommendations.

Q. What if my pet just needs a nail trim, anal gland expression, teeth brushing, etc?
